Zero Waste Home: The Ultimate Guide to Simplifying Your Life by Reducing Your Waste by Bea Johnson

5.0

Being active in the zero waste community on social media and in local groups, I didn't think it would be necessary to read an actual "book" about it. But I LOVED reading this. Bea Johnson reaffirmed all of the reasons WHY living a simple life and reducing waste is a worthwhile venture. She is careful to frame her decisions and instructions within the parameters of her life, understanding that what works for her may not work for everyone. Each chapter has a specific focus and follows the same structure: the why and then the how. I appreciated this approach because it simplified everything and gave me the tools to evaluate my surroundings, habits, and choices. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is interested in minimalism, decluttering, zero waste, or just simple living.
