Quietly Hostile by Samantha Irby
funny
lighthearted
medium-paced
3.0
I love Sam Irby's writing, but bodily fluid jokes just don't do it for me, so whole chapters of this I found to be quite off putting. Highlights did however include her experiences in early days of the pandemic, how to talk to teenagers (relatable even to me at 25), and why she makes a good dinner party guest (also relatable).
Graphic: Toxic relationship and Death of parent
Moderate: Sexual content and Excrement
