Diary of a Wimpy Kid, by author Jeff Kinney, is set in present day in the United States. The genre is Realistic Fiction. The main character is Greg Heffley and in this book, Greg has to experience what it was like when there were no cell phones, tablets, nothing, when his mom had the whole neighborhood sign a petition. But at the last minute Greg went with his school for the camping field trip. But at camp it was way worse. I rated this book 5 stars because I always enjoy the humor in these books and the visuals can make it even funnier!
