Life after Truth by Ceridwen Dovey

4.0

I enjoyed this book, a story about friends meeting again at their 15-year Harvard reunion.  The story is told by four main characters. It explores multiple subjects: friendships, parenting, AI, politics, love and status.  The characters are all so contrasting, complex and interesting.  One of my favourite quotes from the book was: 'Happiness is a noun, so we think it's something we can own.  But happiness is a place to visit, not a place to live'.  The hedonic treadmill we are all on! Cleverly written characters and their own perspectives of their world.  They felt like real people and I want to know what happens next!
