I picked up this series by random, and started off expecting an Alpha/Beta/Omega kind of theme going on (yes, I didn't read the blurb) but the pleasant surprise of a fictional game and the slow reveal of the characters was amazing to say the least. I fell in love with the story and the characters rather quickly, especially Dan who represents a lot of the things I admire most about in a person. I love, love, love this!
