Winner of the Gold Dagger award for mysteries in 1957.  A man who suffers from blackouts and in an unhappy marriage falls in love with another woman.  She is found murdered and he is charged with murder.

The story starts slowly but picks up the pace when the trial begins.  Well written and straight-forward, an entertaining murder mystery.
