This was an enjoyable read, but there was something about it that had me keep putting it down for weeks or months at a time and I’m not really sure what. Probably mostly due to one of the mmc’s having the same name as my 4-year-old son, which was rough. But I think it was also partially due to something with the writing.

I did like the banter between Ollie and Lennon. There were several times I was laughing out loud. I just think the fake boyfriend thing was kind of unnecessary. Ollie should’ve just talked to his family and told them to get off his back. Using Lennon the way he did was, icky. I don’t know. Just something about the way he did it didn’t sit right with me.

And then the way he finally came out was just sort of anticlimactic to me. All that for nothing, really. I think I am gonna come back and read the other books in this series. Maybe it was just this couple that didn’t really do it for me.
