The Little Clock House on the Green by Eve Devon
3.0
it is such a bad feeling when you write a bad review of a book that everyone, literally everyone likes but indeed that has happened to me in this case. well BAD is quite a big word , it was nice. yeah, just our old plain and simple NICE.
yes, it was a sweet chick-lit with some laughing moments but it really didn't fit my type of romcoms.
everyone is saying "it was so sweet and nice", "perfect for a chick time.", " loved it" reviews but trust me ladies there are better rom-coms that are available than this like, bet me or temptation land(or something else, i don't remember the proper name) by Jennifer cruise or some any other writer.
The story is nothing complicated just a pair being in rivalry to buy the clock house for their own different purposes of setting businesses with many side characters and drama. i think the main problem was of it's length, it could've been easily edited to 100 page short.
all in all, it has a greater chance that you are probably going to read it based on it's fantastic reviews and you may like it like the others as it is good if you are reading something from this genre for the first time.. but over the time i guess you'll find many other great reads that is if you keep on reading this genre.
