Anxious People by Fredrik Backman

The first 60% was painful to get through. I understand what Backman was going for but I did not like the antagonistic interviews or frankly the characters.

The profound statements sprinkled throughout were nice… but almost not worth enduring the conversations between the characters.

Hate read most of it until the last 20 pages. It was obvious the robber was a woman from the very early pages (emphasis on no gender when disclosing the parents) so there wasn’t much of a twist beyond the addition of the real estate agent.

Doesn’t encourage me to pick up Backman’s other books.
