I was so excited to read this story and sadly this book was a disappointment.
I enjoy a good mystery story and this was not it. I picked up right away that Delia was not dead (that being said I did read her other book, Where Nina Lies). I did not care for the lack of story. There were a lot of plots thrown at the reader as distraction until the reveal that she was alive, yet none of them come to a close. Did she sleep with Junes boyfriend? Was it his baby that she aborted? Was the abortion even real? Did the other member of the group kill their tormentors as well? Is Sebastian really Trevor? Where did the house and the money come from? Why is June so stupid and following Delia no matter what?
My biggest question is why did June even go along with the revenge plot? June being a semi-sane person, albeit lonely however she would not have just gone along with the whole plot. This is just like the rest of the book, it felt a bunch of different stories of different books were put together to make this one. The drug dealer, the suicide, the cheating boyfriend, the crazy ex, the revenge group and the murders, it seems like these were puzzle pieces that did not fit together.
