Truly Madly Guilty by Liane Moriarty
2.0
Good once you have the whole picture, but I am weary of Moriarty's model of being incredibly mysterious for 60 percent of the book, to the point of distraction, then hitting the big reveal with little reveals towards the end. It worked well in Big Little Lies, but that is because the mystery was part of the story line, not something held back from just the readers. Here, it was just annoying, like being on the outside of an inside joke, and by the time you are brought in, you don't much care anymore why it was funny.
That said, once the "reveal" happened, I enjoyed how it all unfolded, and appreciated the different angles taken by all the characters.
