I was SO close to crying.

Why did Sam have to die? R.V. got on my nerves in the end and yes it is fully his fault that Sam died. I don't care, if anyone says something different.

When I am reading CDF, I am fully submerged into the story. There is no feeling for time, I am very much in love with the story. (And I will fully side eye anyone who questions this only because I fall in love with books so much.)

I loved that Darren had a new friend and hate that he had to lose him. Basically eat him to keep him somewhat alive. Well, not eat him, but drain him of blood. And I really REALLY love the complicated relationship between Crepsley and Darren, it makes me want to cry, smile and scream in anger.
It never feels like only about 200 pages, it feels like a lot more. I am glad that there is more to come.
