I read this book in a go, as I keep seeing it all over my fyp. Almost everyone was saying this is the horror masterpiece or whatever, so I went into it thinking to get spooked but omg what a disappointment. I understand if the author doesn't want to have unnecessary jumps scares but to just write anything remotely creepy and calling it day isn't the way. Who is getting spooked by reading something we don't even know anything? We better get a sequel/prequel otherwise it's time wasted.
