I think a lot of contemporary romance novels are hit or miss for me because I'm not a big fan of the "total submission to the alpha-male in the bedroom" stuff. To each their own, obviously, but it's not for me. However, I liked the plot of this novel, it was an interesting premise and I will be reading the second book in the series (might just have to skim the steamy scenes).
