Until We All Find Home by Heather Wood

5.0

If I had to use one word to describe Until We All Find Home it would be captivating.

It took me a few pages to really get into the book and the different writing style, but once I did, I could hardly put the book down! The characters were well-written with depth and flaws that I find often lacking in Christian fiction.

The author does not shy away from all of the deep, human struggles and sins we all face. And she doesn't shy away from showing God's redeeming grace either, which is what makes this book so unique. I found myself being encouraged and reminded of God's love and grace for me and really, shouldn't that be the ultimate goal when we read Christian fiction?

There were so many twists and turns and a few times where I wanted to shake a few certain characters (I'm looking at you, Justin). Many times my eyes filled with tears while reading and I felt the character's sadness and joy right along with them.

A must-read for anyone who loves historical fiction!
