This book would've been a higher rating if I did not feel uncomfortable about the plot and how certain issues were glossed over.
Personally, the infidelity in this book made me really hesitant to like it- purely from a moral standpoint. At certain points it felt like mental illness and trauma was used as an excuse for cheating. Kind of reminds me of Dear Evan Hansen.

I just wish the author focused more on the sister and her relationship with the Cora, especially since Cora is literally married to her ex-fiance.Personally, the infidelity in this book made me really hesitant to like it- purely from a moral standpoint. Graphic: Rape, Animal death, Alcohol, Blood, Death, Gore, Infidelity, Injury/Injury detail, Kidnapping, Mental illness, Miscarriage, Murder, Self harm, Suicidal thoughts, Suicide attempt, and Vomit
Moderate: Abortion
Contains rape scenes and sexual assault. Intense descriptions of flashbacks. There was smut though, kind of kinky.
