Did not finish book. Stopped at 64%.

I think the booktok/booksta hype killed this book for me. I found myself *trying* to love it, but I just didn't. I really liked Violet and Xaden, I really really did. Xaden is such a book boyfriend *swoon*... but it just didn't capture my attention. I like my fantasies light and airy (Once upon a broken heart vibes) and this one was very heavy and full of war and just not for me. It was also really hard to keep up with the quadrants and everyone's names and the professors and all the magic of the world. I may pick it up again, but for now, she will look really nice on my bookshelf!
