UGHHHH!! If S.J. Kincaid’s intentions were to completely frustrate & anger her readers - she succeeded. And I admit, I may not like this book just bc nothing went the way the I wanted it to. NEVER!! The forces against them kept building & building, and NOTHING good would ever come out of Tyrus’s & Nemesis’s attempts to fix it.
Give the reader some hope, please. A small victory to get me through the misery.
And the plot. It was all over the place. There was enough forward action & backtracking to fill more than 1 book. Plot points seemed rushed & meaningless. It got to the point where I was numb to the ‘shocking’ things that happened.
And then the last few pages were read...and Kincaid drew me back in again. I have to choice but to read the third book. 😈
