Radio Silence by Alice Oseman

Did not finish book.

2.0

I feel so underwhelmed by this book that it made me feel a little disappointed. I ABSOLUTELY adore Alice Oseman and her writings. I read Solitaire, The Heartstopper Series before reaching this book. Needless the say, for some reason this book just didn't click with me.

The main character Frances and Aled are very lovable; each with their own unique personality and this book just manages to make them so diverse it makes my heart happy for them. The reader cannot expect any sort of romance between the main characters and that makes the book more refreshing to read.

However, the plot seemed to have just lost me in the middle of the book. It seemed to be going in circles and I had no idea where the plot was even trying to go. On one hand we had this mysteriously missing sister of Aled and then the conflict of Frances having to deal with the fact that she may have been a part of the reason why the said sister ran away (or so she thinks).

And then that's it.

The book doesn't seem to be doing anything to move the plot.
