I had a lot of fun reading this one! I wasn’t 100% convinced in the beginning because the texting dialogue wasn’t particularly interesting, but once the characters started actually talking to one another, I loved the banter and dynamics at play. Also, it was refreshing to read a romance where the love interest clearly communicates their interest and desire from the beginning. Personally, I found the portrayal of how trauma messed with your reaction to to healthy relationships really relatable and LOVED the way Abby Jimenez handled it at the end. A perfect summer beach read!
