3.0

This started off strong, and I was absorbed for a lot of the read, but the pacing and style were inconsistent and the character development was lacking, leading to a second half that didn't pull off what it was trying to do.
SpoilerI didn't find Sadie and Marx's relationship convincing, which is part of what made the second half not work for me
I feel like the book lost it's sense of purpose halfway through and was grasping to try and be impactful and meaningful.
