This book is the final book in beka cooper's adventures.

This book is by far the most intriguing of them all, through the many many twists and turns of the plot me meet many interesting characters and we are granted a multitude of information about tortall that we didn't nessecarily know from the other pierce books.

In this the ties to the song of the lioness quartet is obvious bland it's the only books to directly linked, it is well done though.

I'm this book we also hear more if pounce and the divine realms, as the constellation has a greater and more active role in the story. He is vital for the sucess of the plot.

This book will leave you with a book hangover and a serious heartache though, as one of the main characters change sides. The betrayal of that will not only hurt beka and her friends but us as readers too
