The story starts off from the very beginning. Charlie finds herself buried alive in a grave. Charlie manages to get herself out, and walks until she finds a bar. At the bar she meets siblings Jaxton and Ashlyn.
After spilling her crazy story, of being raised in an insane asylum with her mother, who was a patient, and the doctor who fathered her. Charlie is determined to get revenge on everyone who wronged her, and Jax is happy to go along for the ride.
This is a quick novella, that had me laughing out loud multiple times. I love Charlie, sheβs such a badass character. She lived in hell for her first 18 years, and isnβt completely broken.
