Bottom line - cute, easy to read cozy paranormal mystery!
Details - This is a new to me author, but I read Kristen Painter (who is one of the other authors in this series) so I had reasonably high expectations. I'd also known about the series for a while but I read by mood and just hadn't been in the mood for a cozy mystery until yesterday. I made a good choice and found it to be a fun read which didn't disappoint! The magical town is a character unto itself and the addition of cats and a half-dressed ghost meant I flew through the book. I also like romance so was glad to see that subplot. The writing is smooth, the action flows, and the characters are likeable.
If you're a fan of Kristen Painter's Nocturne Falls series, I'd suggest you give this series and this author a try!
