OMG! I LOVED THIS BOOK.
Filled with lots of coffee and blueberry muffins, Common Grounds was a sweet and cozy read about Trevor and Emery, who were inspiring and adorable throughout the book. Their black cat/golden retriever energy made me love them even more. Amidst the brewing romance, the story about Baker's Blend and its legacy, which I adored, added more depth to the story.

What I liked(and I think you will too):
● Characters in their late thirties and early forties
● Topics discussed that were addressed & dealt with more maturely
● His nickname for her in his native language (Croatian)
● Wonderful side characters who were more than just side characters
● Downtown vibes of Baker's Grove
● Coffee recipes
● LGBTQ+ rep (Side characters)
● Lots of sweet & swoon-worthy moments

Overall, I enjoyed the story more than I expected even though I wish there were more stories to both the MC's past, especially their relationships.
Thank you so much for the e-ARC :)

RECOMMENDATION:
If you love a grumpy/sunshine, workplace romance where he falls first and they both fall hard, don’t miss this standalone romantic comedy. It will have you laughing out loud and crying tears of joy on an emotional journey to a happily ever after.
