The Crime Writer (I See You) by Gregg Hurwitz

3.0

This book started slow for me, because it felt like the main character was whiny and I didn't have a lot of sympathy for him. Sure, he had a brain tumor and is being prosecuted for his ex-girlfriend's murder, but sheesh. In any case, the book grew on me and I enjoyed the story in the end. It had an interesting twist, and some nice secondary characters.

At times though, it felt like it was trying to hard to be a Stephanie Plum novel, and just falling a bit short.
