I didn't realize when I was recommended this book that it was from the 80s. It's good that I didn't know because it might have put me off of what was quite an enjoyable read. It's about a time period I know absolutely nothing about. I can't be sure if her account of what happened is in any way accurate beyond the obvious magic. But it's about the crusades, and supernatural characters contained therein. And lots and lots of romance.
