When Stars Are Scattered by Victoria Jamieson, Omar Mohamed

dark sad medium-paced

5.0

When the star scattered is about two refugees who once lived in a small town of Mareerey in Somal. But was forced to move to a refugee camp but they didn't know where their parents were. They want to go back but they cant so they start thinking about the united stats but too go they need permission. From the united nation. My favorite character is their foster mom Fatuma because when something bad happens she would say it will be okay or when God gives you a gift you take that gift.I wished that before they left they found their parents. Over all it was a  super good book but I wouldn't suggest this book unless you don't mind violence, and sadness.
