When Villains Rise (Anti-Heroes in Love, #2) by Giana Darling
fast-paced
- Plot- or character-driven? A mix
- Strong character development? It's complicated
- Loveable characters? No
- Diverse cast of characters? No
- Flaws of characters a main focus? It's complicated

as much as i love giana darling this did not work for me. i have disappointment written all over my face and i can tell that it is because of many things:
-overhyping it before i actually read it (because of fallen men series)
-mafia romances usually do not work for me lately
-the plot of this book (i think this could have been a single book and i would give it a higher rating + some of the scenes might not have been according to my taste - especially in this second book - and it influenced my reading experience)
