Quressa was taken by the King and was forced to wear a collar so that he could control her magic. She has never known what freedom is. One day she snuck out of the palace to go have some fun since the king won’t touch her. What she didn’t think would happen, was that she would get stolen by a group of very hot pirates take her and throw her in another cage. This is nothing new for Quressa, she has been in cages her whole life. These Pirates have a plan for her but she has no clue how far they will go to save their own lives. The Embarwatch has 6 pirates on board. Captain Varrow has made a vow that he plans on keeping. Iro is the healer on board. Kylar seems to like playing people. Gabel likes to build little clockwork and can put magic in them as well. Theo is the tallest and most handsome one. Jim is the captain boy and has a lot of darkness in him. All of them have two things in common, they are cursed and like to f*ck one another. Now that they have the witch they only need a few more things. But this witch is one of a kind and likes to have fun just as much as they do. She might be the one thing that will ruin their plan and that won’t solve their curse. It will only make them disappear…
This was an amazing Pirates of the Caribbean retelling. It is very spicy and only has a bit of plot. I absolutely loved Captain Varrow the most out of all the characters besides the FMC because he had the most character change throughout the book. When he was with Quressa, we saw a different side of her and him which I really loved. This book had me screaming like crazy me and my book bestie definitely had the time of our lives. This was an amazing pick for my birthday month!
