The Voice of Knowledge: A Practical Guide to Inner Peace by Don Miguel Ruiz, Janet Mills

informative reflective relaxing medium-paced

As much as I understand what the book is trying to say, I just don't resonate with it at all. It talks about the tree of knowledge aka lies but it also talks about God, mainly Christianity. It said in one sentence, that everyone is a storyteller and it's our nature to make up stories but I would also say the bible is also made by men who are also telling the story of someone else. In one sentence it says "Listen to to their story but don't believe it". While also trying to point out by seeing and being with God. Do we have to believe in what the bible says?, do we have to believe in God?  I know that we all have our own beliefs and whatnot but putting Toltec teachings and "making" it into a Christianity teaching? I just don't get it lol. I find some things in this book to be just nonsense.
