I absolutely adored this book. And the action was NONSTOP. I’ll write a more in depth review later but initial thoughts are:
• I agree with everyone who says this book is therapeutic, and delivered powerful messages, somehow impossibly delivered in a super entertaining romance novel filled to the brim with spice.
• I often feel that dual-POV novels fall short but I really enjoyed this one!! You really get to know and understand the characters and their motivations, and intentions quite deeply.
• I was impressed by the bedroom sessions. I absolutely adore the characters and everything was so unapologetically real. 🌶️🌶️🌶️/5
• Well written, you’re thrown back to back layered drama and interwoven characters but somehow the author manages to keep it from being overwhelming or difficult to follow.
Critique
• The build up to the third act break up was odd. I could feel it coming, and was disappointed because I felt like the mains were acting very out of character which made it feel almost forced. But arguably I know in relationships things get a little rocky after the honeymoon phase. Thankfully, this was only an issue for a couple pages then I felt the characters returned to their usual demeanor.
