A Desolation Called Peace by Arkady Martine
4.0
The pacing of this book was OFF. The first 7 chapters were sooo slow, then things picked up gradually and by the end everything was too fast. The ending itself was quite abrupt.
Nevertheless, I enjoyed it and I especially enjoyed that the same themes of book #1 were explored subtly through characters’ relationships.
+ I LOVED Eight Antidote, he’s probably my favorite character in the duology.
