I came really close to not finishing this book. I do not like the main character, Elsie. I appreciate that she is on a grief journey but she was very hard to like even in the flashbacks. The last chapter of the book is sweet. If I was not making my way through all of Taylor Jenkins Reid’s books I would not have put in the effort to get through this one.
