Autumn Bones by Jacqueline Carey

3.0

Compared to the first book, this one well..dragged. Things were happening constantly but it wasn't very exciting. And a lot of the action scenes had hardly any real action. The main character is also becoming a let down. She is a Hell-spawn and Hel's liaison, but she has no power or authority except threats and contacts. She never does much of anything. Even her few kills in the series happened while other people were holding them down, or they gave up. I wanted her to grow as a character, but she is more indecisive and weak in this book then she was in the last. She needs to learn how to make a decision and then how to back it. Why did Hel choose her? I just got bored.
