Saving Noah by Lucinda Berry

5.0

Lucinda Berry did the right thing. We need such books.
It's eye-opening, thought-provoking, insightful and need I say deep.
The agony the pain it all jumped at me from the pages. What a brilliant writing style this author has! She has her own distinct voice. I know I am gonna read all her books. Not only is she an original she knows how to execute a unique plot idea well. The writing is impeccable!
It will stay with me. It deserves all the hype it's getting on Tiktok, I also wanna see it more on YouTube.
I cried and cried hard while reading it and I do not read sad books it's not my cup of tea but a well-written sad book with a profound message and great writing? sign me in.

When he was a toddler, one of his favorite games to play while we were driving was for me to call out, “Who loves you?”
“Mommy wuvs me!” he’d yell with glee from the backseat.
“How much?”
He’d raise his arms straight up above his head, straining against his seat belt. “This much!”
“No matter what?”
His echoed “no matter what” came out sounding like no mamma what.

“I want you to be proud of my choice.”
