This book is good but you need to be in a decent mood to read it. I found the content extremely challenging at times. It examines themes of childhood violence and problematic family dynamics. I like the formatting of the story, which is the prospective of a single event from all the characters involved, and I enjoyed the writing. But, I would say do not read this until you are in a good headspace.
Graphic: Child death, Death, and Murder
Minor: Ableism and Bullying
