Ty & Lacey’s story was every bit as exciting as I was expecting it to be and more.
Lacey’s parents unexpectedly die when she is 17, leaving her in the care of her Uncle Marc. In the months that follow, Marc becomes abusive and tries to manipulate Lacey to sign over the money/house that her parents left her. To escape her abusive, money hungry uncle, Lacey does the most unthinkable thing a 17 year old girl can do...she fakes her own death! Her best friends Ty and Hunter help her pull this off. Ty and Lacey hadn’t known each other long before this happens but he knows he has to help her.
10 years later....Lacey’s uncle plans to officially declare her as dead (no body was ever found) and this brings Ty to Lacey’s doorstep so he can bring her back home to claim what’s rightfully hers.
