Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins

4.0

When I read it for the first time, I didn't like this book because I hated the ending. And then I grew up.
This book is a perfect conclusion to a dystopia, showing the uglies of a civil war, and that even noble causes create destruction. The way PTSD is written is on point, and the conclusion
Spoiler fits. Katniss tries to have a normal life, to build her life again upon ashes. Yes, it's calm. It almost seems dull. But Katniss need it, even more, she deserves it. The fact she did all of that to save her sister, only for her to die, is cruelly genius.
It's a good ending, it makes sense, and when I closed the book I knew I would read it again.
