My Own Words by Ruth Bader Ginsburg

1.0

She is definitely an interesting and important person, but this book is vastly uninteresting. It covers the same five court cases repeatedly, which makes it feel incredibly repetitive. It offers very little insight into her as a person, and the insight we do get is lame platitudes about bipartisanship and how the supreme court is a "noble endeavor". It isn't. The supreme court has always been partisan nonsense and hearing her defend it makes her come across as either deeply naïve or a liar. All together very disappointing.
