Frankie is a sexologist with a podcast. She needs information from rope play expert/carpenter, Jay Wood. Romance ensues.

I thought this was a cute book with an amazing job at actually portraying diversity in every aspect. This is one of the best books I’ve ever read that demonstrates all different kinds of people and nobody makes a big deal of it (Jay is a bit awkward and first but the first time Frankie goes to his house he puts in so much effort).

There are definitely cliche moments - it’s a romance book, what else is to be expected? The corniest thing though was the carpenter/lumber mill owner with the last name Wood.
