Blood for Blood by Ryan Graudin

4.0

I feel like Graudin's writing style itself was actually stronger in this one than its predecessor, Wolf by Wolf, but the plot was weaker. While Wolf by Wolf felt like a lot was happening, this book was the opposite. Certain sections were really tense, but the book as a whole felt quite slow as if part of a long saga than a short, action-packed duology. This was the main weakness of the book, but it was still really good. The characters all kept their personalities overall, and, while predictable at times, the presentation of plot twists and high points was done really well. This one didn't pack the same punch as Wolf by Wolf, but I still really enjoyed it.
