I really struggled with this book because there were really good sections but it felt very laborious. The last story in particular went on and on then just ended with the character staying the same and leaving the girl saying “oh it’s not important” - like the author gave up. This is not really my style of writing to read at all. But there were beautiful moments in there and tense mystery in the earlier stories. So just reaching 2 stars.
