As a nonbinary person, FUCK JKR
I read these books when I was younger, and I fell head over heels for them. This world means so much to me, and communities I’ve formed through it truly got me through high school. When JKR started being transphobic it began to spur my relationship with the books, and I’ve been separate from them for a while. But I didn’t want her to control what I loved, and recently I’ve made a friend who reinvigorated my love for this world, so I’m rereading it and rediscovering what made it so special. I just wish JKR could see those messages too.
