A good second entry of the story. While I didn’t connect as fully with Edin & Hunter as I did with Danny & Wyn from book 1, they were still enjoyable to read.
While the couples of each book are standalone, the story itself is a continuation from book 1 so I suggest reading them in order as a series. This one is a bit more of a slow burn romance than the previous.
The author also addressed some of the concerns readers had after book 1 about certain elements of world-building and potential plot holes, which I appreciated. She’s built the foundation of a great series and I look forward to continuing!
