A love story about grief, second chances, and healing. It’s heartbreaking and so beautiful. I really can’t stop thinking about this. It’s unimaginable the hurt and pain Yasmen and Josiah go through. The way Kennedy Ryan writes a picture of depression and the pain of loss, but also the strength and authenticity of their love for each other. I love the conversations Josiah and Yasmen have as they learn to communicate and be honest with themselves and each other while also navigating parenthood and owning a business. Romance books have been difficult for me to read lately, but this one pulled me in and pulled on my heartstrings.
