Introvert Doodles: An Illustrated Look at Introvert Life in an Extrovert World by Maureen Marzi Wilson

4.0

Nearly everything in this book is so relatable for me. Like the author/artist, I also experience a lot of anxiety and I'm more than a little shy and awkward. To me, Marzi perfectly captured what it is like to be an anxious introvert.

Marzi's style is super cute. She keeps things simple but does feature recurring characters, and the main character is always the same (Marzi's surrogate).

I really enjoyed this book and I had fun sharing it with my husband. He is also an introvert, but a much more outgoing one than I am, so some of these little "doodles" helped him understand me a bit better.
