childhood best friends > not on talking terms > reconciling (fwb) > fake dating > lovers???? sign! me! up!
unfortunately it fell flat because while i do understand where gabe is coming from regarding the fallout i still think it’s so dumb considering they were the bestest of friends.
plus, while i also understand that they have some built up sexual tension that spans yearsss and that the sex that can come out from that is spicy, i was hoping for more tension and clarity before they started being friends with benefits.
let’s also not forget how mich LIED and practically forced gabe which is not a good look just because SHE wanted answers and was so unprofessional (i’m not the biggest fan of forced proximity and can usually look pass it but in this case it was totally not consensual)
i did however appreciate gabe’s dad character development. and while i thought the fic that they wrote was over the top,
