Ashley Poston is queen of writing lovable characters and intertwining romance with grief. Her books are a warm hug. I was constantly comparing this to Beach Read (which also had a writers block protagonist) during my reading but as the book ended it’s safe to say that they both stand out in their own right! Wouldn’t usuallt reach out for magical (supernatural in this case) romances but this one was thoroughly enjoyable. I, too, find it hard to deal with grief but I think this book made it much easier to think about it.
