I love Fourth Wing and this second book just wrecked me. I just hope that there were more alone scenes written for Xaden and Violet because the book kinda focused on the battle, and I am thinking that it should be balance because we all know that we want more of Xaden an Violet scenes. Additionally, I am kinda pissed off about the ending because WHY DOES IT HAVE TO END LIKE THAT??? All I felt is sadness and terror from what lies ahead for Violet and Xaden. I can’t wait for the book three. I hope it ends well :((
